"Advancing the craft of jury trial advocacy"

Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Seminars & Workshops

Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Seminars & Workshops

Our Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Seminars & Workshops go beyond traditional legal education by focusing on the communication skills attorneys use in the courtroom. We combine CLE credit with practical work on narrative, language, voice, movement, and delivery so attorneys can put what they learn to use in their next case.

Each session is built around the Persuasion Arts In Action™ methodology, including the Five Performance Pillars and Ten Observable Performance Competencies. Whenever possible, we work with real case material—including your own—so the training feels relevant to the work you actually do.

Through discussion, demonstration, and hands-on practice, attorneys work on openings, witness examinations, closings, and other moments that shape how judges and jurors experience their advocacy.

Because the competencies are observable, we can identify what is working, what may be getting in the way, and what can be improved.

Attorneys leave with practical feedback and a clear framework they can continue to use long after the program ends. Whether working with a full firm, a practice group, or a small group of trial attorneys, the goal is the same: to help attorneys communicate with greater clarity, credibility, and confidence so judges and jurors can better understand and receive the case as it was intended.
